TERMS & CONDITIONS
All advice and guidance provided by The Maternity Practitioner is based upon professional experience and should not be taken as a substitute for medical advice from your doctor, pediatrician or healthcare professional.
The Maternity Practitioner will only undertake business on the following terms and conditions.
These terms are legally binding so please read them carefully.
1. The acceptance of a Home Visit, Family Therapy Consultation or any additional service in your home will be deemed as acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
2. The fee of Maternity by Eva Jakab services is due in advance of the initial home visit or consultation.
3. If the consultation or home visit and any additonal service is cancelled by the Client the following terms and conditions apply:
The service is non - refundable. If there is availability to reschedule, we will do our best to reschedule for the earliest available day and time. Additional £50 charge applies to be paid by the Client ahead of the booking occurs.
4. The Maternity Practitioner accepts that whilst working with infant/ child there are sometimes situations where consultations or home visits need to be cancelled due to illness. If this is the case, The Maternity Practitioner will endeavor to work with the client to arrange another date and there will be no charge or cancellation fee as long as the same service is being booked for a later date in next 2 months of the booked date. Any illness has to be confirmed by a letter from GP otherwise cancellation will be charged as of previous paragraph 3.
5. The Maternity Practitioner advises that all Parents follow the SIDS guidelines when dealing with their child’s sleep. Please refer to www.lullabytrust.org.uk
6. All advice given by our Maternity Practitioner is from previous experience, training, knowledge and opinion only and should not be treated as a substitute for medical advice from your GP or Pediatrician.
7. The Maternity Practitioner does not work in a medical capacity and any concerns about your child’s medical health should be taken up with your GP or health visitor.
8. The Maternity Practitioner does not accept responsibility or liability for sleep training, breastfeeding and potty training that does not achieve the required result during the process. All plans are designed to have the infant/child sleeping, fed or be potty trained well within a specific time frame; however the parent accepts responsibility for this success after one of our maternity practitioners has finished their time in the client’s home.
9. The Maternity Practitioner advises that the parents are consistent and stick to the meal planner, sleep routine, feeding schedule, and any given advice provided in order to achieve success. The outcome depends highly on parental consistency and therefore by agreeing to undertake the routine and feeding/ nutrition advice, sleep training, potty training the parents agree to working alongside the Noosh Inc. consultant to achieve the best results possible. It will work – it just takes time and consistency!
10. Any medical or feeding concerns about your child should be expressed in the early consultation stages so that The Maternity Practitioner can address these before putting together a plan.
11. The Sleep/Weaning/Routine/Potty Training/Behaviour Plan will be discussed at the end of the consultation. Any additional advice and tips will be written and sent through via email within 72 hours of the initial consultation.
12. The Maternity Practitioner works closely with clients to ensure that you get the results you would like for your infant/ child. In the small number of cases that you don’t see progress with the plan, there is always a reason and we will suggest alternatives and look into medical and dietary issues with you. During this process, you will need to work with us closely and be willing to try other things.
13. The Maternity Practitioner advises parents to read the plan carefully before embarking on any sleep training/new routines/behaviour changes.
14. The Maternity Practitioner follows up by email and text service includes unlimited text and email support for clients following their initial consultation or home support packages for up to 5 days after the home visit ended.
15. In no event shall The Maternity Practitioner be liable for any losses, special, direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages or any damages whatsoever, whether in an action of contract, negligence or other tort, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service or the contents of the Service.
